There are two ways to create and publish catalogs with XPGEO Studio
Catalog of all images that are initially loaded
At the bottom of the report, there are two options to move forward. To create a catalog of all the images that were just added, click Create catalog
Next, the user will be prompted to give the OIC a title, add a description, the option to add additional tags, a search distance (value should be determined according to the distance between the images: the larger the distance, the larger the value) and how they would like the images referenced to the catalog. There are two options for this:
Add images as attachments
URL
This option is recommended for catalogs that have a large number of images
Once everything is filled out, click Publish
After the catalog has been published, the user will have two options
Show item details - this will allow the user to review the new catalog file under the user's “content” on AGOL or Enterprise
View OIC in map - this will allow the user to view the imagery from the newly created catalog with XPGEO Studio’s viewer (more information about this will be under the View Catalogs section of this document)
Catalog of selected images
At the bottom of the report prompt, there are two options to move forward. To select certain images to be in the new catalog, click Upload to map
On the map, the image exposure points (represented by the “X” symbol) and the viewshed will be present, along with the folder and image names in the contents pane
To add additional images, click Add imagery and repeat the steps listed under Add Images section of this document
Using one of the selection tools on the content pane, select the images that will be used to create the catalog and then click Create OIC
Note - a catalog can be created using images from different folders and/or different devices (i.e. smartphone and drone)
The user will be prompted to give the OIC a title, add a description, the option to add additional tags, a search distance (if applicable) and how they would like the images referenced to the catalog. There are two options for this:
