Editing Attribute Tables

XPGeo Studio gives users the ability to easily edit Attribute Tables, including adding/populating fields and editing metadata information. Users adjust the location of images in the catalog.

Editing can only be done on OICs that the user is listed as the owner

Loading Attribute Table

  • Click on the three dots next to the catalog and select Attribute Table

Selecting Image(s) to Edit

  • Click on the exposure point(s) on the map, or

  • Click on the box next to image(s) in the attribute table

Note: In the viewer, the last image selected is the image being shown

Editing Attribute Table

  • After selecting image(s) to edit, click Edit at the bottom of the attribute table

  • After performing the edits, click Update

  • If multiple images are selected for editing, use the arrows at the bottom of the editing popup to move to the through the images to edit. Note: User will have to click Update prior to moving to the next image in order for the changes to apply.

Adding/Populating Fields

  • Click the three dots on the right side of the attribute table and select Add Field

  • Fill out the field properties and click Add

  • Select the image(s) that need the field to be populated and click Edit.

  • The new field will show up at the bottom of the editing popup. Type in the new value and click Update.

  • If multiple images are selected, use the arrows at the bottom of the editing popup to move to the next image

Adjust location of an Image

  • Select image and click Edit

  • Click the Location button image-20240529-200310.png on the right side of the editing popup

  • On the map, click to establish new location. Once the adjustment is complete, click Update
