  3. From the Catalog pane, expand Toolboxes, then expand the ManageOrientedImagery.pyt toolbox you just added. You'll see a list of tools for creating and managing OICs.

  4. Under the ManageOrientedImagery toolbox, double-click the Add Images to Oriented Imagery Catalog GP tool.

  5. Complete the dialog by choosing the appropriate Imagery Type. In the field Input Oriented Imagery Catalog, select the catalog to that you want to add images

  6. Select one of the options from the field Input Type, according to the type of file.

For example, if you have the imagery in a folder, click on the folder icon
Browse the images folder on your computer.

  7. Complete the dialog by choosing the appropriate Imagery Type

For example, if Drone Oblique Camera is selected, the tool will autocomplete some parameters with values from the image file.

Some parameters, such as the ones pointed out with the arrows might not be autocompleted and must be entered manually. For more information about each parameter please refer to the Oriented Imagery Catalog Schema by ESRI

  8. Click Run

  9. Once complete, you'll see additional exposure points on the map. Also, you can check the Attribute Table of the Exposure Points and you should see the additional rows corresponding to the data from the appended images.

10. Publish your OIC to ArcGIS Online or your ArcGIS Enterprise portal. Under the ManageOrientedImagery toolbox, double-click the Publish Oriented Imagery Catalog GP tool.

11. Select your Catalog Name as the Input Oriented Imagery Catalog. The tool will autofill the fields. Then, Click Run

12. Your Append OIC is now available in ArcGIS Online or your ArcGIS Enterprise portal.
